Wait

Are you waiting on the Lord? What do you hope for or expect from Him? Are you in a season of waiting? For me, I am in season of waiting and expectation. There are things I have been praying and waiting for a long time. if you are anything like me, I tend to whine and complain during that period of waiting because the waiting can be so long and daunting. David encourage us during our waiting, hoping, and expecting of the Lord to be brave and courageous. I never thought of waiting as being brave, but when you are trusting God to bring home those prodigals, hoping for healing, expecting your finances to come together and waiting for doors to open. It is brave and courageous. You are believing and letting God be God. Isn’t that what faith is about? I think we should be like little children waiting with such excitement of what will happen next. As I walked through the process of buying my home, the waiting, the hoping, and expecting for everything to falling into place was killing me. I had to brave through 7 extensions, one roadblock after another, and the long wait and expectation of the phone call it is time. But the excitement I felt in my heart when I finally sign the papers, and when I got me keys, I wanted to run and jump up for joy. Isn’t that how God is? He wants us to wait on Him, hope for everything to come together, and to expected that the blessing that will come Will Be Epic. Be brave my friends, and of good courage, the wait is worth it.
